How to Record a Reference

A reference is a teaching audio clip you can attach to an assignment as a listening example. Record a passage in the browser and save it as a draft, then review and publish it when it is ready to use.

Steps

  1. Open References. Select New Reference.
  2. Describe the reference. Add a Clip label, piece, composer, or tags when useful.
  3. Record your playing. Select Start Recording, perform the passage, then select Stop Recording.
  4. Save the draft. Preview the clip, then select Save reference.

💡 Tip: Turn on Record to a click when you want a more exact bar grid and measure anchor during review.
