How to Change Your Password

For accounts that use an email address and password, Settings lets you replace the current password. Saving the change signs out other browsers, so they will need the new password to sign in again.

Before you begin

Sign in with an email address and password. This control does not change credentials managed by another sign-in provider.

Steps

1. Open Settings. Find the Password card under General.
2. Confirm your identity. Enter Current password.
3. Set the replacement. Enter at least eight characters in New password and New password again.
4. Save the password. Select Change password.

💡 Tip: Generate and save the replacement in your password manager before selecting Change password.
