How to Review a Practice Recording

A take is one practice recording. Review the voice-muted audio before keeping it on the device. Teachers can see practice activity but cannot play your child's recording.

Before you begin

Finish a recording in a practice session. Select the same child on the device where it was recorded.

Steps

1. Open the review list. On Today, select the recordings-to-review prompt or the Review button showing the number of waiting takes, then choose a recording.
2. Listen to the recording. Play the whole preview. Use Trim & mute if speech remains, then listen again after editing.
3. Confirm your review. Select Listened to the recording and Confirmed no voice remains only after checking the audio.
4. Keep the recording. Select Keep on this device. To discard it instead, select Delete take, then Delete.

⚠️ Warning: Keeping a recording on this device does not back it up. Replacing or losing the device can mean losing that audio.
