How to Add a Piece Without a Teacher

Add a piece or exercise your child is learning to build a practice plan at home. It appears in their assignments and can be used in a practice session.

Before you begin

Select the correct child. Add a piece is available when that child has no active teacher connection.

Steps

1. Open Assignments. Select Add a piece.
2. Enter the piece name. Fill in What are you practicing? On the first independent setup, expand Optional details if you want to add a composer, category, or target tempo.
3. Add the piece. Select Add piece. During first-time setup, its detail screen opens so you can practise it immediately.
