How to Connect with a Teacher

A studio code connects your child's practice profile with a teacher's studio. Once connected, the app can show the teacher's practice plan for your child; check the studio details before confirming.

Before you begin

Ask the teacher for their studio code. Add your child in the app before connecting the teacher.

Steps

1. Open the connection screen. During setup, use Connect their teacher. Later, open Family, select the child's name card, then Connect to a teacher.
2. Look up the studio code. Enter it. In the Family flow, select Find Teacher; during setup, lookup happens as you type.
3. Check the teacher and child. Review the teacher's name, studio, and the child being connected.
4. Send the request. Select Connect during setup, or Send Enrollment Request from Family. The teacher must approve the request.

If something goes wrong

If the teacher or studio card is missing or unfamiliar, check the code with the teacher before confirming.

💡 Tip: Studio codes contain two words and a number, such as SUNLIT-OAK-42.
