How to Edit Your Child’s Name

Your child's name identifies their profile. An optional nickname controls what the app calls them on Today, so you can use the name your family prefers.

Steps

1. Open Family. Check that the correct child is selected.
2. Open the profile editor. Select the child's name card marked Managed by you · tap to edit.
3. Edit Name or Nickname. Keep Name filled in; Nickname is optional.
4. Save the profile. Select Save changes.

💡 Tip: Use Cancel before saving if you want to leave the name unchanged.
