How to Review Student Practice

The practice view summarizes a student's participation, recent sessions, and time spent practising. Reviewing it before a lesson can help you discuss recent work and plan what to address next.

Steps

  1. Open the student. Select their name from Students.
  2. Find Practice Dashboard. Review minutes, streak, takes, and active pieces.
  3. Open the detail. Select Show practice detail.
  4. Review the sessions. Scan Recent sessions and Where practice time went for lesson context.

💡 Tip: Scan the piece rows for Spots marked Saved for lesson before deciding what to discuss first.
