How to Set a Family Lesson Day

A family lesson plan keeps a regular lesson day in your child's practice history and syncs across devices. Past lesson minutes count as practice time.

Before you begin

This option appears only when the child has no active teacher connection. Connected teachers manage their own schedules.

Steps

  1. Open the lesson settings. In Family, select Lessons and practice tools under Practice plan.
  2. Enable Set a lesson day. The date and repeat controls appear.
  3. Set First lesson. Choose the date and time of the first occurrence.
  4. Choose Repeat and Length. Select the repeat interval and lesson duration. Changes save automatically.

If something goes wrong

If a save error appears, check your connection and select Retry saving lesson day.

How to Check Your Next Lesson

The lesson schedule shows your child's last and next lessons. A connected teacher manages the lesson times; families without a connected teacher can keep their own repeating lesson plan.

How to Adjust Your Practice Goal

Suggested practice time helps shape your child's day. You can adjust daily minutes, focus minutes, and the number of pieces; these are participation goals, not grades.
